Is it Possible to Change or Remove the Lock Screen Clock of Android 12 Completely?
You can change the clock by using a screensaver. Just turn on the screensaver option and choose the analogue clock there. Now when locked, your mobile will show a Material You based analogue clock on the screen. You can turn on the screensaver option by following these steps:
- Go to Settings and tap on Display
- Tap on Screensaver
- Turn the screensaver on and choose the relevant settings, like when to show the screensaver. Choose between digital and analogue clocks
Another option to change the clock is to use third party apps from the play Store. Some of them might need root access to make changes to your device, but those apps are not recommended as they may void the warranty of your device. So the better option is to always use the official ways to make changes to your mobile OS to customise it.
You can also hide the clock completely on the lock screen if you don’t wanna see it anymore.
Hide Android 12 Lock Screen Clock
Even though many people won’t do this, if you are too frustrated with the clock in Android 12 then you can hide it completely. Follow these steps to remove the clock from always on display mode.
- Open Settings and go to the Display Section
- Tap on Lock Screen
- Turn off the option that says “Always show time and info”
After that, lock your mobile and check it. You will no longer see the clock on the lock screen.
Finally we can conclude that even if there is no official way to change the clock on Android 12, we can still try some methods to change it. And if it is about the size of the clock then we can reduce its size and change it from two lines to one line.
